TriLite Battery Free LED Torch |
The TriLite is as stylish as it is clever. Staying true to its eco-friendly design the EverLite TriLite uses no batteries at all. Instead, the TriLite LED Torch uses magnetic induction to generate electricity which is stored in a capacitor. The high output LED bulbs then use this stored electricity to produced light (clever isn't it). Emergency lighting from a rechargeable torch or flashlight whenever you need it.
All you need to do is shake the torch for 30 seconds to a minute and the TriLite will have enough energy to produce from 20 minutes of bright light, using all 3 LED's up to 1 hour using 1 LED. If you use just one LED the brightness is the equivalent of 20 candles of light. If you use all 3 LED's then you have the brightness of 45 candles brightness. This is very good light intensity and can be seen from well over a mile away.
The best part of it is, this is free energy!!! When you want to recharge the TriLite torch, you don't go out and buy more batteries to pollute the environment, you just shake it again for 30 seconds to 1 minute!!! I think you see where we are going here. This is very clever technology and VERY dependable at the same time.
The TriLite torch never needs replacement bulbs either. The high output LED bulbs are rated at 100,000 hours before failure. To put that into perspective that is about 10 years of continuous use. You would have to say that is one eco-friendly led flashlight. Just imagine how much money you would save on batteries not to mention bulbs. |
